Last week was a rough one for me. I had some really bad spasms on a few days and stomach issues on the others, so I wasn’t able to get a lot posted or find too much to assign my intrepid reporter and partner Nathalie.
To top it off, I awoke Friday morning to find my main PC dead. At first I thought that my trusty desktop stopped recognizing the hard drives in it, but I managed to get that taken care of. I don’t have a 500GB external drive to dump everything onto (though I certainly will soon), so I basically have to back up over 300GB “by hand” by burning countless DVDs. Though safe, unfortunately I can’t access The Able Gamer (not authorized by, associated with or sponsored by AbleGamers Foundation, Inc. or its website AbleGamers.com) image and video archives for a few days while I get my workhorse rebuilt and re-organized.
Anything we do get up this week will be on the smaller scale, and I may even end up taking the site down to retool it too. I’ve sort of settled on the new features to install, so it may only be down for a day. I’m going to work hard today and tomorrow trying to finalize a feature article I wanted up a couple weeks ago too.
I’m hoping to hear back from eDimensional about a ship date for The Access Controller soon, I’m looking forward to getting that thing unboxed. We aren’t playing much for review at the moment. We’ve been trying to get into We Love Golf! On Wii, but I was very disappointed with what we played so far. Nathalie is also grinding her way through the iPod RPG Song Summoner.
